Dear Arthur, today you are three.
Arthur, three years ago today your Daddy and I were huddled up around you in a hospital room. Outside there was an ice storm shutting down the city. The hospital was actually running on generators at several points throughout our stay! We didn’t find out if you were a boy or a girl while I was pregnant. So when you were born, and Daddy exclaimed, “It’s a… BOY!?!!??!!!” …I think I cried the happiest tears I’ve ever cried. What a wonderful surprise you were.
Then before we knew it… you were ONE.
And today, you’re three!
You are the sweetest balance of courage and caring. So strong and wild, but also sensitive and kind.
I love watching you grow up, and I’m so thankful that I get to be your Mom.
Happy Birthday Arthur!
