time warp. last year. woah.

okay. we’re back. just a little pregnancy-induced nostalgia for you.
and the truth:
penelope did NOT want to wear the costume. she hated it. oh, and these pictures were taken… november 2nd. on actual halloween, i put penelope down and laid on beth’s couch for two hours. casey worked. trick or treating? no. i didn’t know i was pregnant marathon? yes.
just keeping it real.
there’s always next year, right? :)

tonight casey and i watched old, old videos of penelope and it was so much fun. i definitely have enough emotion to spare, lol.
So cute. She looks so little last year. Loved that you watched a tv marathon instead of taking her out. So awesome!! There is always next year, unless you decide to pull the 1 year apart thing instead of 2 years apart….jk!
I think next year she’ll appreciate it more… and if Daddy could manage to get the night off, it’d be way more fun!
…and I’m not even going to respond to your kids-one-year-apart comment. I don’t want to jinx myself ;)
Is that the same costume? Wow. I love watching “I Didn’t Know I was Pregnant”! It’s crazy, but you can kind of see how these women wouldn’t have known. I look down at my stomach and laugh thinking that I could somehow not know that I am pregnant.
It is– I happened upon a free 2T costume last year, and just hiked it up like crazy. If she was standing/walking/crawling, it would’ve fallen off :). This year it fit perfect.
