shaggy

October 27, 2009

after much trepidation, i finally got up the nerve to cut casey’s hair.

getting regular haircuts takes time and money, neither of which we ever seem to have an excess of.  so i watched a couple of videos on youtube, borrowed beth‘s clippers (which may or may not have been recently used on a cat), and set to work. casey was able to study hebrew while i took my time.

i’m psyched.

it certainly isn’t the best haircut you’ll ever see, but it isn’t the worst either.

before (second one is just before. hesitation/doubt is palpable) :

Excellent job. I cut Erik’s hair. He’s gracious. I think he’s had his share of “bad” hair cuts courtesy of me :(. It certainly saves money though!

Great job, friend! Sorry I wasn’t awake to view the results. Remember the agreement… in order to do use the clippers (which may or may not have been recently used on a cat, lol), my hubs is next!

Good job! I’ve cut my brother’s hair before and it usually doesn’t turn out this nicely. I’m impressed.

That turned out way better than when I cut Matt’s hair :)

It actually looks really good. Ryan had the same look before I buzzed all his hair off 3 years ago. Ted had that same look when little Laurie gave Ryan and I flu shots yesterday. Must be a Theule-man scared look. I was looking through pictures yesterday for shots of grandma and saw a picture where Casey has a cut very similar to the one you gave him. It looks really nice!!
