how to get what you want and look cute doing it

there’s this little face that penelope gets when she has an idea, an idea that is sneaky. it screams “i’m mischevious, clever, and up to no good!” it’s an idea that is SO overwhelming, excitement cannot be contained. because this look is immediately followed by action, i’ve yet to catch it without blur. even at crazy fast shutter speeds. :sigh:

anyway. here is a sequence to show you what i mean:

starts out simply enough. just standing around…

then the idea hits. and we see the face. what was the brilliant, troublemaking idea? climbing up onto the couch with mom, of course.

mission accomplished!!

uh oh. she’s already in motion. profile of the face.

crawling on top of mom’s legs, baby kumquat, thoroughly smooshing. and laughing about it.

“kay mom. what next?”
