lunch on the porch
May 31, 2009

a simple sandwich (turkey/provolone, in this case) is much tastier on homemade bread. i’m crazy about this recipe.
when paired with laurie’s pasta salad, it’s the perfect spring lunch.
laurie’s pasta salad:
1 lb pasta of choice (my favorites for this salad are farfalle or rotini)
1 bell pepper (chopped)
1 cucumber (chopped)
1 can artichoke bottoms (chop these up, too)
some cherry tomatoes
some little green olives
salad supreme seasoning (this one is key)
Italian dressing
Diriections: Cook pasta, drain. Coat pasta with Salad Supreme. Mix all ingredients together. Toss in dressing. Voila. You can change it up, too– add pieces of chicken, cubes of cheese, or different veggies.

You’d better take advantage of that porch while you have it! :)
But… is it really fair to gloat about homemade bread when my lonely bread machine sits in my closet because I don’t know how to use it?!
looks yummy!
but i totally call the pasta salad “alicia’s pasta salad”! lol!
now i know where it originated from :)
