welcome to the new digs!

why move, you say? yes, the old clunky blog has been good to us, we know.

we’re hoping that this new, shiny site will make connecting with us easier. the increased organizational levels, and slightly more technical capabilities are something we’re excited to grow into.

cultivating rich long-distance relationships, with both family and friends, is a high priority for us. while our plans to GO, lord-willing, are a few years off, we’re laying the groundwork now.

on a relational level, we think that a well-maintained, easy-to-navigate, and frequently-updated website is a part of that groundwork. to us a website doesn’t feel cold, detached, or impersonal.. you’ve taught us otherwise. it’s become a way to connect with friends both in louisville and elsewhere, share our lives with family thousands of miles away, and keep a running dialogue going about all things, serious and silly. what a wonderful community!

I LOVE the new look! :) So glad you’ll be able to post bigger pictures too. If you ever need blog help in the future, let me know. Also, I so need to order some soap!

I really like your new website. Way too far beyond my technological skills to switch, so I’ll enjoy looking at yours. Today I initiated the pool for the first swim of the season. It felt GREAT!!! I am looking forward to a long summer of swimming and bbq’s. Looking forward to having a suitable Theule bbq with you 3 in tow this year. Perhaps we can celebrate the summer solstice this year :)
